The countryhouse is located in open countryside, with a fantastic view of the Umbrian hills, but is also only 10 minutes from Gubbio, 15 from Perugia and 40 from Assisi and we are served by bus. You can often see around the farmhouse roe deer, hares, pheasants and pigs.

We are about m 600 from the begginig of Francesco’s Way.

Our accomodatios:

• white appartment: a double bedroom, large bathroom, confortable entrance, kitchen, large living room with two single sofa beds. Possible extra beds too.
• yellow appartment: ground floor with kitchen, confortable bathroom, first floor with large bedroom, double bed and twins beds. Indipendent bedroom with double bed, single bed and bathroom.
• blue appartment: kitchen, large bedroomwith double bed and single bed, confortable bathroom.
• green appartment: large kitchen/living room with double sofa bed, bathroom, bedroom with double bed.

All appartments have private entrances, with their outdoor relax area, dining tables in the garden. Are provided with: phon, microwave oven, toaster, juicer, various kitchen utensils, crockery, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom linen and soap and bath creams. We also find in appartments: sugar, tea and coffee, herbal tea, salt, vinegard and oil.

It’s possible renting only appartment or booking with B&B formula. Breakfast can be consumed at our home or delivered in a basket directly into the guest appartment. It’s also possible get a “take-away” dinner: home made recipes, traditionally cooked with fresh and seasonal products and delivered directly in your home.

We have donkeys for therapy and trekking. We also organize holistic workshops (yoga, reiki, meditation) nature courses (herbs recognition, collection and conservation) and athers events for soul and well-being.

It’s possible sharing experential art and donkey workshops.

We host all pets.

After the earthquake, the old house was rebuilt following the principles of bio architecture, blending traditional elements with other totally innovative; It is powered by a photovoltaic system and heated with biomass plant thus achieving the A + certification.
Each apartment is equipped with employee entrance, floor heating, a kitchen complete with crockery. Two of them are also characterized by a small outside area with tables. Among the services,  Wi-Fi, parking and barbecue. The farm makes available to clients all its products, strictly made from certified organic agriculture ICEA and a small herd of Chianina cattle.

The E45 highway on the other side of the hill provides access to Rome, Perugia, Spoleto, Todi, Assisi, Spello, and Gubbio that you can visit either by yourself or with our guides. You can choose from five rooms with bathroom, situated in a large park with a swimming-pool. The whole property is a part of the Varcone Alto farm, where we produce extra virgin olive oil.

The hamlet of Giomici is found in the earldom of Giomici just 2 kilometres from the border with the Duchy of Urbino. An ancient stone building thet dates from the 1700s can be seen in the centre of a vast hilly agricultural area. This large building, in typical Umbrian rural architecture, was built to incorporate an ancient watch tower and is found on the medieval road that originates from Assisi and makes its way to Gubbio along the river Chiascio. St. Francis used this rout many times.

Montemaggiore is a farm near the city of Gubbio immersed into a nature reserve. Within the farm there is a horse riding stable, an educational farm and about 200 ha of fields cultivated with organic ways. Staying here means immerse yourself into a pure land where hear the birds sing, the calls of fawns, the silent footsteps of hares, pheasants and squirrels. The large rooms with private bathroom and shower are simple, comfortable and functional.
