				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Km 0	Depart from the entry gate of the Eremo de La Verna. Descend towards Pieve Santo Stefano.<br />
Km 3.4		At the crossroads, turn left towards Pieve Santo Stefano, beginning to climb.<br />
Km 6.3	Valico dello Spino. End of climb.<br />
Km 16	Continue downhill to the left towards Pieve Santo Stefano.<br />
Km 19.2	Pieve Santo Stefano. Turn right at the crossroads.<br />
Km 19.7	At the traffic circle, turn right towards Arezzo.<br />
Km 20.5	To the left there is the turn for the Eremo di Cerbaiolo, which can be reached taking the long unpaved road uphill.<br />
Km 22.2	Leave the main road, turning right for Anghiari.<br />
Km 24.7	Sigliano. Beginning of climb.<br />
Km 28	End of climb; on the left a pretty view of Lake Montedoglio.<br />
Km 30 	Bridge spanning lake, beginning of climb.<br />
Km 32.3	End of climb; on the left a view over the Montedoglio dam.<br />
Km 33	At the crossroads, turn left towards Anghiari.<br />
Km 34.5	Motina. End of descent. Continue straight. Those with an all-terrain or mountain bike can turn left to take the unpaved bike path along the Tiber to Anghiari.<br />
Km 38.6	At the end of a progressive climb, turn left at the crossroads towards Sansepolcro. Continue straight uphill to visit the center of Anghiari.<br />
Km 39.2	At the end of a short descent, pass the traffic light and turn right.<br />
Km 42.9	At the crossroads with the traffic light, cross the street and continue straight towards Citerna.<br />
Km 43.5	Fighille. Continue straight.<br />
Km 45.5	Turn right towards Citerna, which you can see in the distance on the right.<br />
Km 46.5	Beginning of climb.<br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Km 0		Depart from the center of Citerna. Leave the historic center towards Città di Castello and follow the signage for “Via di Francesco” towards Assisi.<br />
Km 0.4	At the intersection, keep right towards Città di Castello and, after 50 meters, turn right again downhill.<br />
Km 2.3	At the intersection with the main road, turn left towards Città di Castello. Be careful of traffic. After 100 meters, ignore the signage for “Via di Francesco” and continue straight along the asphalt road.<br />
Km 8		Lerchi, continue straight.<br />
Km 10.9	Turn right towards Cortona, Trestina.<br />
Km 13		At the intersection, turn left toward the center of Città di Castello and cross the bridge over the Tiber River.<br />
Km 13.2	Turn right at the traffic light. Continue straight if you would like to visit the historic center of Città di Castello.<br />
Km 13.8	Turn left at the intersection.<br />
Km 14.5	At the second traffic light, turn right towards Apecchio and Fano.<br />
Km 15.5	At the traffic circle, turn right towards the cemetary.<br />
Km 15.9	At the traffic light, continue straight.<br />
Km 18		Convento degli Zoccolanti. Continue straight towards Pietralunga on the SP 106.<br />
Km 23.8	Continue straight, ignoring the signage on the right for “Via di Francesco”.<br />
Km  24.1	Turn right towards Pieve dei Saddi. Climb begins with stretches steeper than 10%. Alternate to avoid the unpaved stretch: continue straight up steep climb, meeting back up with the route at Pietralunga for a total distance of about 50 kilometers.<br />
Km 26.7	Continue left towards Pieve dei Saddi.<br />
Km 29.8	At the crossroads, continue straight following the signage for “Via di Francesco”.<br />
Km 30.6	At the intersection, turn right towards Pieve dei Saddi.<br />
Km 31.5	Unpaved stretch begins. End of climb.<br />
Km 32.1	Continue straight.<br />
Km 33.8	Begin descent, being careful.<br />
Km 35		At the crossroads, continue downhill following the signage for Pietralunga. Unpaved stretch ends.<br />
Km 35.5	Pieve dei Saddi. Continue straight downhill. Rough stretch.<br />
Km 37	Continue, keeping left. Beginning of climb.<br />
Km 37.6	End of climb. Continue straight following signage for “Via Francigena di San Francesco”.<br />
Km 40.3	At the intersection, turn left towards Pietralunga. End of descent.<br />
Km 43.5	At the intersection, continue straight towards Pietralunga.<br />
Km 44		At the intersection, take the first right and follow the signage for “Via di Francesco”. For those with a road bike, avoid the unpaved 100 meters by continuing straight along the main road to arrive beneath Pietralunga.<br />
KM 45.2	After 100 meters of unpaved road, turn left at the intersection with the main road.<br />
KM 45.5	Turn right towards the center of Pietralunga. Beginning of climb.<br />
KM 46.2	Pietralunga. End of leg.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Km 0	Depart from Piazza Cesare Battisti, in front of the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta. At the end of the parking lot, turn left and then immediately right, passing the Palazzo del Municipio. Immediately after the Palazzo, turn left onto Via Pescheria. At the end of the road, continue to the right and follow the signage toward the bottom of the city.<br />
Km 0.5 	At the intersection with the main road, turn left towards Terni, keeping watch for traffic.<br />
Km 1	At the traffic circle, turn right and continue along Viale Marani, being careful of passing vehicles.<br />
Km 2	Turn right towards the Santuario de La Foresta.<br />
Km 3	Turn left and then continue straight towards the Santuario de La Foresta. Beginning of climb.<br />
Km 5.9	Santuario de La Foresta on the left. After stopping, continue to the right<br />
Km 8.6	End of climb.<br />
Km 11	End of descent. At the intersection with the main road, turn left.<br />
Km 11.4	At the traffic circle, turn left towards Cantalice. Beginning of climb.<br />
Km 16	At the intersection, turn left towards Poggio Bustone. End of climb. Beautiful view of Cantalice on the right.<br />
Km 17.9	Cantalice.<br />
Km 19.7	Follow the signage for “Poggio Bustone” and turn right, beginning to climb again.<br />
Km 21.6	At the intersection, turn right again towards Poggio Bustone.<br />
Km 22.8	At the intersection, continue climbing towards Poggio Bustone.<br />
Km 24.5	At the intersection, turn left towards Rivodutri. End of climb. Continue climbing towards the right for about 1 kilometer to arrive in the center of Poggio Bustone. Some may want to rest for the night here, leaving the next day for Piediluco.<br />
Km 27	A short descent to Rivodutri. Continue towards Morro Reatino. At the lot, turn right towards the Faggio di San Francesco, taking the narrow uphill road. Immediately afterwards, turn left towards Leonessa and, at the following intersection, continue right.<br />
Km 29	Continue right uphill towards Leonessa.<br />
Km 31	At the intersection, continue left towards Morro Reatino. End of climb.<br />
Km 32	Morro Reatino.<br />
Km 33	At the intersection, turn right and continue downhill towards Terni.<br />
Km 36	At the intersection, turn left towards Terni or right to visit Labro, which is less than 1 kilometer away.<br />
Km 40	End of descent. At the crossroads, continue right towards Piediluco.<br />
Km 42	Continue straight towards Piediluco and, at the following intersection, left towards Piediluco Centro.<br />
Km 44.5	Piazza Bonanni. End of leg.</p>

Km 11.5	End of descent. At the intersection, cross the street and continue towards Arrone.<br />
Km 12.4	Arrone. Continue straight. Water fountain on the right.<br />
Km 13	At the traffic circle, continue right towards Ferentillo along Valnerina Nera River Valley. Caution: traffic.<br />
Km 16.7	Turn left towards Ferentillo Matterella. Immediately after the church, there are two water fountains on the left. After the town, pick up the main Valnerina road, continuing left.<br />
Km 22	Macenano.<br />
Km 27.5	Ceselli. Continue straight towards Scheggino.<br />
Km 31	Scheggino. Turn right to enter the piazza, passing the bridge over the Nera to visit the center of town. End of leg. </p>

Km 1		Turn right following the signage for the “Vittorina”.<br />
Km 1.4	At the Chiesa della Vittorina, where it is said Saint Francis met with the wolf, turn left and, after 100 meters, continue right.<br />
Km 1.9	Turn left following the signage for the “Sentiero Francescano della Pace Perugia-Assisi”.<br />
Km 3.3	Continue straight.<br />
Km 3.6	Continue straight, keeping the road to your right and following the signage for the “Sentiero Francescano della Pace Perugia-Assisi”.<br />
Km 4.2	At the intersection, ignore the signage for the “Sentiero Francescano della Pace Perugia-Assisi” and turn right. After 50 meters, turn left onto the SS298, keeping watch for traffic.<br />
Km 5.5	Ponte D’Assi. Continue straight.<br />
Km 6.5	At the intersection, turn right towards San Cipriano.<br />
Km 7	Turn first left then right to pick up the main road.<br />
Km 7.3	Turn left, exiting the main road, and then immediately right following the signage for the “Sentiero Francescano della Pace Perugia-Assisi”. Beginning of tough climb.<br />
Km 8.5	Beginning of steep stretch. Some may have to dismount.<br />
Km 8.9	End of steep stretch. Climb continues with stretches steeper than 10%. This is one of the most difficult stretches along the route.<br />
Km 10.8	Turn right exiting the Sentiero Francescano della Pace Perugia-Assisi. End of climb.<br />
Km 11.1	At the intersection with the main road, turn left and continue towards Perugia. Be careful of traffic.<br />
Km 13.8	Abbazia di Vallingegno on the left. Continue straight.<br />
Km 15	Beginning of climb.<br />
Km 16.8	Turn left, following the signage for Biscina. End of climb.<br />
Km 18.1	At the intersection, turn left towardsValfabbrica and Caprignone.<br />
Km 19.9	Castello di Biscina on the right. Leave the “Sentiero Francescano della Pace Perugia-Assisi” on the right and continue straight. Caution: steep stretch.<br />
Km 26.7	Continue left, picking up the “Sentiero Francescano della Pace Perugia-Assisi”.<br />
Km 28	Continue along the asphalt, leaving the trail to the right.<br />
Km 31.2	After the dam at the end of the descent, continue straight along a short, steep climb. Those with a all-terrain bike can turn right along the unpaved stretch following the signage for “Via di Francesco”. This stretch ends in Valfabbrica.<br />
Km 31.7	At the intersection with the main road, turn right towards Valfabbrica.<br />
Km 34.5	Valfabbrica. Continue straight towards Perugia.<br />
Km 41.5	Pianello. Continue straight.<br />
Km 42.7	At the intersection, continue straight towards Ripa. Beginning of climb.<br />
Km 44.5	Ripa crossroads. Continue straight towards Perugia.<br />
Km 46.9	Civitella d’Arna. Continue straight towards Perugia. End of climb.<br />
Km 50.7	At the intersection, turn left towards Perugia, Ponte Valleceppi.<br />
Km 51.1	At the traffic circle, continue straight.<br />
Km 51.9	After the bridge over the Tiber River, turn right at the traffic light towards Pretola.<br />
Km 52.4	Caution: railroad crossing.<br />
Km 53	Pretola. Continue straight. Beginning of climb.<br />
Km 54.6	At the intersection, continue left towards Perugia.<br />
Km 57.8	At the traffic circle, continue left.<br />
Km 58.4	At the traffic light, continue straight.<br />
Km 59	At the traffic circle, turn right on Via Pinturicchio.<br />
Km 59.3	Piazza Grimana. Turn right; at the intersection continue left and immediately right up Corso Garibaldi.<br />

Km 60	At the intersection, turn left. Scenic overlook.<br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Km 0	Depart from Scheggino, traveling along the Valnerina towards Visso and Forca di Cerro.<br />
Km 2.7 	At the crossroads, continue straight towards Cascia. Continue straight through the following crossroads. Turn right to visit Sant’Anatolia di Narco.<br />
Km 4	Castel San Felice. Turn left towards Reggiano. Beginning of tough climb, with stretches steeper than 10%. Water fountain on the right.<br />
Km 6.7	At the crossroads, turn left towards Spoleto. The climb continues, but less steep.<br />
Km 11.6	Forca di Cerro. End of climb.<br />
Km 14.8	Views of the historic railway bridges along the former Spoleto-Norcia line.<br />
Km 18.2	Continue straight downhill towards Spoleto.<br />
Km 20.8	End of descent. Continue left towards Spoleto; at the next traffic circle, turn left towards the historic center, keeping watch for traffic<br />
Km 21.7	At the traffic circle, continue straight towards the center and straight again at the next intersection. Enter Spoleto through Porta Garibaldi. Immediately afterwards, continue uphill on Via dell’Anfiteatro, following the signage for “centro”.<br />
Km 22.7	Continue uphill to the left, towards the centro.<br />
Km 23.1	At the intersection, contine right on Via Tobagi. Cross the center, reaching Piazza della Libertà, and continue along Via Matteotti to leave the historic center. At the intersection, continue straight, turning left after 200 meters.<br />
Km 24.3	At the intersection with the SS3 Flaminia, cross and continue straight towards Monteluco, being careful of traffic. Beginning of climb.<br />

Km 6.2	Continue to the left on the main road. Entrance to the Ponte delle Torri on the right.<br />
Km 7.2	At the intersection, cross the Via Flaminia and continue towards the center of Spoleto. Caution: dangerous intersection.<br />
Km 7.4	Turn right. At the next intersection turn left without entering the historic center.<br />
Km 8.1	At the bottom of the hill, continue right towards Acquasparta.<br />
Km 9	At the fork, continue right and then immediately left, following the signage for the “SS 3 Flaminia”.<br />
Km 9.3	At the traffic circle, turn right towards Perugia.<br />
Km 9.7	At the interchange, continue right towards SS 3 Flaminia. At the next fork, continue straight towards San Giacomo. At the traffic circle, continue straight keeping watch for traffic.<br />
Km 11	Madonna di Lugo. Continue straight.<br />
Km 14.2	Continue straight towards San Giacomo.<br />
Km 15.7	San Giacomo. Turn right on Via Norvegia.<br />
Km 16	Immediately after the railway crossing, cross the SS Flaminia and continue straight towards Poreta. Beginning of slight climb. Caution: dangerous intersection.<br />
Km 19	Poreta.<br />
Km 19.3	Water fountain on the right. At the fork, ignore the signage for “Castello di Poreta”, instead continuing straight. The climb becomes steep.<br />
Km 20	End of climb. Turn left at the intersection.<br />
Km 21.3	La Bianca. Continue straight. At the next fork, follow the signage for the “SS Flaminia”.<br />
Km 23	At the intersection with the SS Flaminia, turn right keeping watch for traffic. Fonti del Clitunno on the left.<br />
Km 24.3	Leave the main road, turning left and immediately right onto Via del Tempio, following the signage for the “Tempietto del Clitunno”.<br />
Km 25.6	At the crossroads, continue straight along the bike path.<br />
Km 25.8	Turn right and cross the Flaminia, continuing towards Foligno. Be careful of traffic. After a few meters, turn right at the first signage for “Pigge” and “Bovara”. Continue on Via Chiesanuova, then follow the signage for “Trevi”. Begin to climb; the ascent is progressive, but after Bovara there are stretches steeper than 10%.<br />
Km 28.5	At the intersection, continue to climb towards Trevi<br />
Km 29.7	Turn left towards the center of Trevi. End of climb.<br />
Km 30	Trevi, Piazza Garibaldi. End of leg. From here, the center of Trevi is just a few meters.</p>

Km 22.5	Turn right and continue straight until Santa Maria degli Angeli.<br />
Km 25	Santa Maria degli Angeli. At the third traffic circle, turn left towards Assisi e and continue straight.<br />

Km 3.2	End of descent. At the intersection, turn left towards Spoleto, then immediately right towards Borgo Trevi. Turn left again towards Montefalco, keeping watch for traffic.<br />
Km 3.7	At the traffic circle, continue right towards Montefalco and then cross a bridge.<br />
Km 4.7	At the fork, continue towards Montefalco.<br />
Km 4.8	Before the bridge spanning the river, turn right. After 100 meters, climb the bank to meet up with the bike path to the left.<br />
Km 8.6	Leave the bike path, turning left towards Turri. Pass two bridges, then pick up the bike path again on the right.<br />
Km 10.1	Leave the bike path, turning right across the bridge. Continue to the left.<br />
Km 10.7	Turn right towards Foligno, crossing Casevecchie.<br />
Km 11.8	Continue straight towards Foligno.<br />
Km 12.2	Keep right towards Sterpete.<br />
Km 13.8	Sterpete. Continue straight.<br />
Km 15.6	Foligno. At the traffic light, turn left and then follow the one-way street. Caution: heavy traffic.<br />
Km 16	At the intersection with the traffic light, turn left and then continue straight. From this point on, use the bike lane when possible.<br />
Km 16.6	Continue to the right towards the “stazione” train station. Continue straight if you wish to visit the center of Foligno.<br />

Km 24.8	Turn right on Via degli Ulivi.<br />
Km 27	Continue straight.<br />
Km 27.7	Continue straight.<br />
Km 28.3	At the intersection, continue straight. You will begin to see Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Chiesa di Rivotorto on the left.<br />
Km 31	San Vitale. At the intersection with the main road, continue straight towards Assisi. Turn left if you would like to pass through Rivotorto and Santa Maria degli Angeli.<br />
Km 33.9	At the traffic circle, continue straight towards Assisi.<br />
Km 34.1	Continue straight if you’d like to enter the historic center passing the Basilica of Santa Chiara. Otherwise, continue right to reach the upper part of  Assisi.<br />
